if you use the threads on the pole, they are very breakable. i've broke 3 of them just threading a brush onto it. bottom line, dont buy just one. when you order buy a few at a time just in case

These are good tips, just make sure you always have spares on you as they do break after harder use with brushes (gutter whitening)
